Greetings, everyone! The name is M. C. -- Merit Celaire! I'm new on the scene in the Mario Wiki community because I've a dedicated Mario game series fan from day one! I'm grateful to snag the opportunity to help this place out by adding/editing info while at the same time making sure it's accurate for everyone. Let's just say some friends from other places "convinced" me to trust this Wiki site as well as join in on adding to that trust.

The "Mario Series' Gals" Support

Granted, I like all of the Mario series' characters and the entire series itself. However, it's double that or more in terms of the Mario series' gal participants! I have a detailed explanation as to why, and it can be found on this separate page in terms of my planned editing sessions here on the Super Mario Wiki.

This list now includes the Nintendo Wii games currently in my library (since my obtaining the console on Monday, October 6). I'm slowly catching up on the Wii installments, but no guarantees that I'll get them all before the end of the year; depending on finances.

Mario Series' Installments I'm Keeping Tabs On (Or "Targeting")

Well, great news -- as of October 6, 2008 I finally have a Nintendo Wii system. Now comes the grueling task of getting the Mario series' games I am seriously missing out on (which are listed below). In the meantime, I have been keeping tabs on Mario series installments that have been released, or are yet to be released (especially in terms of game media itself, hoping that I can still update this Wiki with confirmed facts). I'll sort the games that I'm looking out for, in terms of priority.

HIGH PRIORITY: Super Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii
MEDIUM PRIORITY: Mario Strikers Charged, Wario Land: Shake It!
LOW PRIORITY: Mario & Luigi RPG 3

Mario Strikers Charged and Super Mario Galaxy can wait a bit longer (even though I have SMG. in high priority, and MSC in medium priority). However, I'm currently pondering on what to get next - Super Mario Galaxy or Mario Kart Wii since they're both high priority material. But hopefully an opportunity may rise up in terms of if Mario Strikers Charged will be offered at a sale price.

Keeping Close Watch On Info Regarding Mario Super Sluggers

At this time, I've been keeping tabs on editing and/or adding info in regards to Mario Super Sluggers. So far, I've managed to do the following:

• Recategorize the main artworks section for that article.
• Add in an article focusing on the Baseball Kingdom locale.
• Started an article focusing on the 4 Challenge Mode cutscenes for the game, which has now been merged with the main Mario Super Sluggers article (located here); the majority said it was better this way. And it makes sense now because of getting confirmed info about how this part of the game works.
• Added and/or modified information on the gal participants for this game from NOA's official online card website in relation to it.

UPDATE (11/18/20008): Forgot to mention this a few weeks back, but I have finally scored my copy of Mario Super Sluggers itself! I've been stuck on playing Super Paper Mario still, but I try to see about getting in Mario Super Sluggers sessions in afterwards. The other day, I forged through the Practice sections - now it's time to check into the main game (via Challenge Mode first, obviously).

Five Months In And I'm Still At It!

My gosh! It's been five months already since the last time I edited this profile entirely, and I'm still understanding the ins and outs of handling the Super Mario Wiki. Still, it's my hope that my Mario series' expertise will come in handy (overall, of course - but once again, for the gal characters in this series, it's double!) As for myself in regards to posting and editing information on this Wiki, it'll still be in terms of standards, but you'll still encounter my full enthusiam here on this userpage and on my related talk pages.
