Tacks are a basic item found in Mario Kart Arcade GP and its sequel, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2. They are just some ordinary gold nails. If used, the player would scatter the Tacks behind them. If a rival runs over them, they would pop his or her tires; making it harder to control their Kart.
