This article is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed soon.

Template:Level Deck Trek is the fourth level in Donkey Kong Country's pseudo-sequel, Donkey Kong Land. It is also the fourth area in Gangplank Galleon Ahoy!, the game's first world.

This level takes place on a ship, beginning on its deck. As they progress through the level, though, the Kongs will have to climb up many long ropes and make their way to the ships highest mast. Ropes will not only help them on there way up. Barrels appear several times in this level, and can shoot the heroes at hard-to-reach places. If they are lucky, the monkeys may even land in a barrel that will shoot them to a Bonus Level. To add some difficulty into Deck Trek, the Kongs will have to avoid Mini Neckies, Gnawties, Zingers, Slippas, and Kritters on their journey to the top of the ship. A few Mincers also appear here as well, although only in a Bonus Level.

Trivia

  • This level, along with Riggin' Rumble, are very similar to the rigging levels of Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest, as the heroes must climb up many masts to reach the highest point on a ship. In fact, it is likely that the ship levels of Donkey Kong Land inspired the developers of the game to make these rigging levels.
