Template:Articleabout Template:Smrpgenemy Pinwheels are a race of fan-like creatures that appear in Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. They make their fighting appearance in Nimbus Land where Mario and his party are literally blown away by this enemy. When in battle, Pinwheels use attacks like Blizzard and Sand Storm. One of these little guys is also in Monstro Town inside Monstermama's house.

Pinwheels, according to the Pinwheel in Monstro Town, have three settings: "breeze," "gust," and "blast." The "breeze" setting is very light. The "gust" setting is slightly harder. The "blast" setting is the strongest setting where the pinwheel turns a red color and blows a strong gust of wind. The wind in Monstro Town could not push Mario back, but in Nimbus Land, when Mario approaches the windy villain, it can blow Mario and Co. back into the next room or at a wall.

Pinwheels are often seen fighting alongside Sling Shys and Jawful.

Trivia

  • In one room in the Nimbus Castle, a Sling Shy can be seen staring at a Pinwheel. This could mean that these two enemies cooperate a lot or that the Pinwheel just amuses the Sling Shy.
  • Pinwheels are obviously named after the little wind toys, named pinwheels, that children are known to play with.
