Shady Paratroopa is a Koopa Troopa with a blue shell and slightly darker colouration of skin. It appears in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, firstly as one of Mario's opponents in the Glitz Pit, along with two Shady Koopas, and secondly in the Pit of 100 Trials. When they are stomped back to Shady Koopas, they can even attack on an upturned shell.

- Tattle Log: Other than having wings, this creature isn't very difficult from a Shady Koopa. Once it flips off its back, it boosts its Attack.
