A Battle Beetle!

A Battle Beetle is a hopping beetle found in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. Although one Battle Beetle can be considered easy to beat for an intermediate player it would take as little as three to defeat Mario. The usual "jump on the head" routine should take care of it but as a pre-caution using a Superball is good as well.

Battle Beetles don't really fly but jump high and then gilde back down on its wings.
