Diddy Kong Pilot was a planned sequel to Diddy Kong Racing, but with flying as the only means of transport. However, it ended up cancelled. After its cancellation and after Rare was acquired by Microsoft, Diddy Kong Pilot was converted into the game Banjo-Pilot. Characters confirmed to appear in the game were Krunch, Dixie Kong, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, Cranky Kong and a character tentatively called "Redneck Kong". [1] There is a screenshot showing a rocket boost in it which revealed that rocket boosts were probably going to be an item in the game.
