Template:Infobox Diddy Kong Pilot was a planned sequel to Diddy Kong Racing, but with flying as the only means of transport. However, it ended up being cancelled. After its cancellation and after Rare was sold to Microsoft, Diddy Kong Pilot was converted into the game Banjo-Pilot in 2005. Characters confirmed to appear in the game were Krunch, Dixie Kong, Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong, King K. Rool, Cranky Kong and a character tentatively called "Redneck Kong".
