The Manager is a member of the Smithy Gang and a supervisor of the assembly lines of Smithy’s Factory. He is the fourth highest ranking official of Smithy’s management staff, above the Clerk, but under the Director, the Factory Chief, and (of course) Smithy himself. The Manager is guarded by three Pounders, small hammer-like enemies. Before he is defeated by Mario and his allies, he mentions the creation Mack 2, Bowyer 2, and Yaridovich 2, powered-up versions of the original bosses (but presumambly, not mass-produced ones like the Machines Mades).
