Yoshi Village is a small coastal village found on the coast of Lavalava Island. As its name suggests, it is entirely inhabited by Yoshis, all led by a rather plump Chief Yoshi. The buildings in this village are all made of straw, bamboo, and other materials, which suggests that Yoshis have (albeit somewhat limited) architectural abilities.
