At the front of the bottom-right side of the quicksand hill, the player can jump down off the edge and go right to find the two striped cacti mentioned in the tablet at the [[Damp Oasis]]. By jumping into the quicksand in the space between them and sinking, a secret chamber is discovered. Inside is a chest containing a Tablet Piece scrap.

Layout

The level has lots of desert areas at the beginning, and while the player progresses through the level, the layout is a mix of desert, underground, and quicksand areas. A Red Toad, called the Traveling Toad, is seen. Mario must save him from a group of five Paragoombas that transform into the 5-Fold Paragoomba, and continue on his adventure.
