The Red Chomp is a very strong variety of Chomp (though weaker than regular Chomps). They can be found only in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Super Paper Mario and in Mario Party 7. In Mario Party 7, he gives the rider a lift and smacks the stars out of other players. In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, they are immune to fire attacks. In Super Paper Mario, they appear in Chapter 8-4, hiding in the Basement.
Trivia
- In Super Paper Mario, Tippi mentions that it likes Pizza Sauce. This could be a joke on the fact that the Chain-Chomps appearance is like Pac-Man, who was based on a Pizza.
