Template:Minigame-infobox Slot Trot is a 2-vs-2 minigame found in Mario Party 6. Its name is a pun on the Foxtrot, a dance from the 1920s.
Introduction
The camera shows the player's team; they run forward to move the wheel forward, then back to move it back. The view then changes to the one shown in-game.
Gameplay
Both slots that are displayed by a Lakitu flip randomly to show a pair of objects. The pair of objects shown can either be a mushroom, cloud, Green Shell, Fire Flower, Buzzy Beetle, Yoshi Egg, Cheep Cheep, and Red Paratroopa shell. The teams must then rotate the slot they stand upon so that the result on the machine matches the one on Lakitu's display. The first team to match the display three times wins. It is possible for both teams to score. If both teams score 3 points or if too many rounds pass, a draw is declared.
Ending
The camera zooms in on the winners, who perform their victory animations. If a draw is declared, the players do their losing animation as "Tie" appears on the screen.
