Hi! I'm BBQ Turtle, and I really love Mario Kart games. I love all of the really detailed courses, such as Coconut Mall, Toad Harbor and Super Bell Subway. I also like the imaginary sponsor companies included within the courses, and, believe it or not, they have got me out of a sticky situation. I have a constantly growing collection of Mario figures and other merchandise, and decorate loads of my stuff with Mario symbols and characters.
Just a little note: I'm British, so I'm not in the American time zone (I'm 4 hours ahead), so if you're wondering why I haven't replied to something or why I am editing the Wiki at 6:00am or earlier, that'll be why. I also apologise if I use British spellings- My American's not brilliant, but I'll try my best.
What I edit
I love browsing through all of the Mario Kart stuff, and adding bits and bobs I know and improving any pages that need a bit of a sort out. I also go to the lesser character pages that appear in Mario Kart and ensure that they all have correct information. I also edit other bits and bobs here and there.
Bigger Editing Jobs
Larger jobs that I have done include:
- The almost complete rewrite of the Pianta Mario Kart section.
- The list of sponsors in:
- Finishing the captions and alphabetically ordering the Mario Kart Sponsors Gallery.
- My own page.
- Correcting any false 'same stats' karts from Mario Kart DS (i.e., the pages claim that two karts have he same stats, when they in fact do not.)
- Generally sorting out the Spiked Ball page.
Editing plans
In the near future, I plan to:
- Add complete sponsor lists for the remaining Mario Kart 8 courses that include sponsors.
- Creating pages for the Mario Kart 8 sponsors, detailing the appearances and details of the brand, and linking it to all pages that mention it.
- Making sure that all of the karts with 'the same' stats have matching information.
