Template:Missionbox Racing the Spooky Speedster is the sole mission of Boo's Boneyard Galaxy in Super Mario Galaxy. The mission's objective is to race the Spooky Speedster in a rematch.
Mission
The player starts on a skull planet with a Warp Pipe that will lead to a cave with the Spooky Speedster. Unlike with the last race, Mario has to be Boo Mario in order to race against the Spooky Speedster. By picking up the Boo Mushroom, the player will be able to reach the Spooky Speedster and accept his race.
The race will take place throughout the entirety of the cave, which consists of walls Boo Mario can phase through, fans that will push him ahead, and springs that will bump Mario to the side. Coins and arrow signs also line the cave, which shows the player the direction they need to head in. About halfway through, there are moving obstacles shaped like bones. Touching a ? Coin will either turn on a fan or produce a line of coins. Reaching the end of the cave before the Spooky Speedster will reward the player with the Power Star, though failing to beat the Spooky Speedster will result in Mario losing a life.
