Boo's Haunted Bash was a haunted house/forest board hosted by Boo in Mario Party 4. He built it because he loves scaring people, and wanted his friends to be scared here as much as possible. Here, Boos were everywhere, and were put in charge of the games and shops (the one hosting wore a wizard's hat and cape).
The main attractions here was the Mystery Train, and the Red Boo bridges. Every time a player passed the Red Boo (leader), He and the bridges would dissapear, and reappear when another player came by. The Boo that was in charge of the Mystery Train (a set of four transparent coffins) would not give rides as long as the bridges were there. While they're gone, players will ride on the train. While on it, players would be able to change direction of the train to other parts of the board until they reached the graveyard (a side on the board). Other players that got in the way went on board too, so that they also ended up where the player in front was heading. There were only two ? Spaces on the entire board-at the top-right corner. Players that landed on one made a clock count down to when the infamous Big Boo came. When the ? Space activated three times, Big Boo appeared. He stole coins (for 15 coins) or stars (for 150 coins) from the other players, and gave them to the player that summoned him.
The Item Mini-Game of the board involved a big trumpet. Three items went in the trumpet. After they scrambled, players had to jump on one of the buttons. This made the trumpet play a note, and release one ot the items it had. That item went to the player. The Coin Mini-Game involed a piano. Players had to keep up with the Boo to press the buttons shown on the keys. The more keys they got right at the end of the game gave them more coins (mistakes or not reacting ment less coins).
In Story Mode, if the player beat his/her opponents on the board, Boo challenged him/her to a Mini-Game in order to win his present.
