Template:Minigame-infobox Wiggler Bounce is a boss minigame found during the events of Mario Party 9.

Introduction

The players are in a forest area. A Wiggler then walks out of the trees and the bushes. Then, two Piranha Plants appear.

Gameplay

The objective is to ground-pound the Wiggler's body segments while avoiding any Piranha Plants, which deduct one point from the score upon contact. Ground-pounding a segment with a purple mark on it gives the player one point, while ground-pounding the red segment gives the player three. Players can also ground-pound other players to slow them down.

When its health is halfway depleted, Wiggler becomes enraged. It turns red and moves much faster than before, making it harder to ground-pound a body segment. In addition to that, three Piranha Plants appear at once instead of just two. The player who delivers the final attack earns an additional three points, and the player with the most points at the end of the minigame wins.

Ending

The Wiggler turns yellow, falls to the ground upside-down, and then explodes, releasing 32 Mini Stars.
