This article is about the microgame in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$! For the accessory for the Famicom, see Family BASIC.

Template:Minigame-infobox Family Basic is a microgame found in the Nintendo Classics folder in WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgame$!. It is based on the Family BASIC, a keyboard peripheral released for the Famicom.

Gameplay

The objective of the game is to type the requested key on the Famicom keyboard. If the player presses the wrong character, they lose the microgame.

  • 1st level difficulty: Only the numbers are visible, and the player must press the number shown onscreen.
  • 2nd level difficulty: Only the letters are visible, and the player must press the letter shown onscreen.
  • 3rd level difficulty: Both the letters and numbers are visible, and the player must press the letter or number shown onscreen.
