Template:Minigame-infobox Pinball Brawl is a Coin Chaos minigame in Mario Party: Star Rush.

Gameplay

Players need to toss Green Shells using flippers of a pinball machine to hit the coin bumpers to throw out coins. Players can get coins by touching coins with the Green Shell. Koopa Troopas spawn in the map, and if players hit them, they can use more Green Shells to get more coins. Goombas appear in the machine as well, and if players knock them out, they earn coins. If players hit the ? bumper at the back of the pinball machine, the slots turn; if all three slots match, the enemy on the slot depicted appears on screen. The enemy can be a Hammer Bro, which will throw hammers at the coin bumpers and make them release coins, Lakitu, which will throw coins all over the arena, or Shy Guy, which will remain stationary and release two Red Coins upon being hit with a shell. A Spiny may also appear in the machine in Level 3 in addition to Goombas and Koopa Troopas, which will walk around and release three Red Coins when hit with a shell.

Levels

  • Level 1: Only yellow coins and one Koopa Troopa is available at default. A Warp Pipe blocks the gutter.
  • Level 2: An extra Koopa Troopa appears. Red Coins also start spawning.
  • Level 3: There are more Koopa Troopas and more Red Coins. Spinies appear. The Warp Pipes on the edges are red and lower themselves if collided so the shell travels to the gutter.

Controls

  • L Button/R Button: Move flipper
