Tall Order is a 2-vs.-2 minigame appearing in Super Mario Party. Its name comes from a phrase meaning "a task that is difficult to complete."

Introduction

The first team is shown on a cloud, ready to shave ice. Two penguins carry a bowl below the cloud. The camera then divides to show the other team, as well as other penguins with a bowl. The minigame then starts.

Gameplay

The minigame is set in an area similar to Frosted Glacier. Teams must shave ice as fast as possible by moving their Joy-Con in circles in order to create a sculpture taller than the opposing team's, pouring the ice into a bowl moved back and forth by some penguins below. Each player has a limited amount of ice to shave. After 30 seconds pass or if both teams run out of ice, the team with the taller structure wins.

On the Challenge Road, this is the eleventh challenge of Ghostly Hollow and the 45th challenge overall. In the normal challenge, the player must make their structure 14 meters tall, and in the Master Challenge, the structure must be 16 meters tall.

Controls

  • Joy-Con (L) / Joy-Con (R) (horizontal) – Shave ice

In-game text

  • The tallest sculpture wins!
  • Shave as fast as you can while the bowl is beneath you!
