- Double Deck (pictured) is the only battle course from Mario Kart 64 that has yet to reappear in a later Mario Kart game.
- Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam is the only installment in the Mario & Luigi series where Beanish characters are not seen at any point in the game.
- In the Japanese versions of the Mario & Luigi games, Fawful puts strings of "ru" (る) into his sentences, and sometimes says "Fururururu" (ふるるるるるる).
- In the Mario Kart 7 E3 2010 demo, Rock Rock Mountain and Mario Circuit do not have Glide Ramps.
