Sprite from Wario: Master of Disguise
First appearance Wario: Master of Disguise (2007)

Daves are enemies that appear in Wario: Master of Disguise. They are German Shepherds that are trained as police dogs by Sergeant Houndstooth, and can only appear in the Smithsnorian Museum when Nigel B. Whistlebottom summons other security guards. Dave attacks Wario by rearing up on its hind legs and punching with its paws; they cannot be defeated, but Wario can still knock them out for a few seconds.

In-game description

A regal canine who overcame his mutt roots to become a true police dog at the tender age of one (or seven in dog years). His pugilistic skills are a wonder.
