The Dash Attack also known as the Wario Attack is a frequently-used Special Move of Wario's. It has been around since the first Wario Land and has been around ever since. Its main purpose is to attack enemies, but it can also be used to hit switches or break treasure chests.

Wario Land Series
The move is a simple attack in these games; it can only be used to attack one enemy at a time or to destory blocks.
Wario World
To execute it, the player must press the R Button, making Wario take off in a burst of speed. This is handy for either quickly moving about, or in a pinch, barreling through enemies. Another move, coupling a Dash with a Wario Punch, can be done by pressing, holding, and releasing the B Button.
