A Nintendog a giant puppy from the Nintendo's Nintendogsgame series. Nintendogs are named after thier debut name which in turn is a portmanteau word of Nintendo and dog. Nintendogs have appeared in a few games related to the Mario series.
Nintendogs appeared several microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves. Later, a giant, white lab Nintendog became an Assist Trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When it is activated it will distract the players by covering most of the screen and start clawing and barking. Nintendogs also appear as stickers.
