The '''Beacon''' is the large [[star|star-like]] reactor that powers the [[Comet Observatory]], including the space station's propulsion systems, life support, and its [[Dome]]s. The Beacon begins as a small, dim star, but as [[Mario]] collects more [[Grand Star]]s, the star becomes larger and brighter, allowing access to more Domes.


The '''Beacon''' is the large orb-shaped star that helps power the [[Comet Observatory]]. Apparently, the [[Luma]]s have a hard time surviving without it.

It first appears a tiny glowing orb, but the more [[Grand Star]]s [[Mario]] collects, the brighter and larger it becomes, therefore adding more power to the [[Comet Observatory|Observatory]], which lights up more pathways to [[Dome]]s.
