Watermelons are Fruit that appear several times in the Mario series and differ each game. In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, there are three differn't types that offer special attacks. Regular green ones allow a Yoshi to spit out the seeds as projectiles, if it already has a bite mark in it, there will only be half as many seeds. Red Watermelons allow a few shots of fire breath that burn enemies and Ice Blocks. Blue Watermelons allow a few shots of ice breath that freeze enemies, making then fragile and harmless.
