Supermassive Galaxy is a galaxy set to appear in the game Super Mario Galaxy 2. It was first seen in a trailer released at E3 2009, on June 2, 2009. Supermassive Galaxy depicts many common Mario enemies and elements at an extraordinary size. Some examples, as seen in the image, include Piranha Plants, Lumas, coins and Platforms. The concept can be compared to that of Giant Land from Super Mario Bros. 3 or the 'Huge' part of Tiny-Huge Island in Super Mario 64, in which enemies, blocks, and other objects were also giant compared to Mario himself. In the trailer, Mario is seen traversing across giant Warp Pipes and Blocks. Mario can use the drill to attack the giant enemies here.[1] Many enemies here include Grand Goombas, Grand Paragoombas, Piranhacus Gigantici, and Wigglers. There is a Secret Star that involves Mario taking a hidden launch star and planting flowers on a barren planet by walking.[2]
