Cosmic Clones are shadowy duplicates of Mario that appear in Super Mario Galaxy 2. Cosmic Clones are created once a certain point is reached in a galaxy and will follow behind Mario, performing every movement Mario makes. Interestingly enough, if Mario runs into a clone, then if there are enough clones following Mario, one clone will one into another.
