Fighting Wire Frames can be fought in a training mode called Multi Man Melee. Three different scenarios are choosable here, 100 Man Melee, 15 Minute Melee, or the expert leveled Cruel Melee. All can become extremly difficult after a few minutes, except for Cruel Melee which is always extremly difficult.

Though it is not quite clear what the Wire Frames ''are'', the fact that they are said to have been "built" makes it reasonable to assume that they are robots.

The male and female versions

The Fighting Wire Frames are enemy characters in the game Super Smash Bros. Melee. Replacing the Fighting Polygons from the original Super Smash Bros., the Wire Frames have the same attack pattern as Zelda and Captain Falcon (minus the B moves), and are constructed of purple wires with internal organs visible. It is unknown who created the Wire Frames but since they have the "Super Smash Bros. symbol" on their faces, it is possible that Master Hand and/or Crazy Hand did so.

Their level, Battlefield, has low gravity and almost any attack can send them flying off the screen. If the player defeats them Metal Mario and sometimes Metal Luigi fly down and fight.

Though it is not quite clear what the Wire Frames are, the fact that they are said to have been "built" makes it reasonable to assume that they're robots.
