Template:Rewrite-you These are the glitches found in Super Paper Mario.

Underhand glitch

In the River Twygz section of the Underwhere, select Barry and find an Underhand not attached to the ground. Use Barry on the hand and it will fall to the floor, but become stuck. It will writhe and twitch but won't be able to really move anywhere.

Another exploit in the same area is to get a free roaming Underhand to follow the character out of the river. They will follow as expected but twitch if they touch the ground or become stuck between Charold's boat and the rivers edge.

Disappearing Boomer

In this glitch, Boomer can be forced to go behind the background of a stage. It can only happen when one of the characters is in a background area near a Warp Pipe. First, the player must place Boomer in a area in which one of the warp pipes can not be seen. Then, they must go down the unseen warp pipe before Boomer goes off. If this is done correctly, Boomer will go off and go behind the background. When the player is in the next area, Boomer will still be with him/her.

Yold Town Shop Void

In the shop in Yold Town, a player should use Mario. The player should then flip to 3D, and go behind the small sign next to the counter. Then, in 2-D, the player should walk towards the counter. If done right, Mario should go through the sign, and be partially inside of it. Then, if they flip back to 3D, Mario will do his "falling" animation, and fall through the floor. If the player moves the control pad, the screen will scroll away from the shop and into the void behind it. After about 10-15 seconds, Mario will reappear.

Yold Town Shop Shadow World

In the shop in Yold Town, first do the Yold Town Shop Void glitch but when Mario does his "falling" pose, jump left and Mario will be in a world of black. The player should stay in 3D because in 2D, Mario will be back in the shop.

Merlee's Mansion Game Freeze

In the PAL versions of Super Paper Mario if the player goes into all the rooms indicated by Mimi the game will freeze.

Note: This may not work on all PAL versions of the game.

Through The Treasure Chest

Find any big chest that's open. Jump on it and flip to 3-D. Once you're on the base of the chest (not the top), flip back. Mario should fall into the chest. Now if you make your way to the side of the chest, you can easily see that Mario is through the chest.

Boomer's Disappearing Chest

Get Boomer for the first time. Blow up the wall to the left, flip to 3-D and go into the hole. Flip back into 2-D and you can see that the chest is gone. You can only do this the first time you meet Boomer. If you leave and come back, the glitch won't work.

Walk-Through Floor

Go to the basement of Flipside. Head right in the middle of one of the half-circular openings and flip into 3-D. Flip back again and Mario should be through the floor. After a while, he'll reappear, but he'll be stuck in the opening.

Mini High Jump

Do the glitch above. Then, use Dottie to shrink Luigi. Have him do his high jump and he'll fly through the walls. He'll later respawn.

Bowser In Wall

Again, in the basement area, find the wall with the tiny gap that you need Slim to go into. Go into the space and turn back to 2-D. If Bowser is there, it's clear that he's through the wall.

Carrie Runs Away

Do the glitch above. Now use Carrie. She'll be able to jump up and down, left and right while the character is still stuck.

Through The Pipe

High jump up to a platform with bricks blocking a pipe in Flipside's first floor. Flip into 3-D and break the bricks with Cudge, only don't break the ones actually blocking the pipe. Slip through the gap between those bricks and the pipe. Flip back and you'll be inside the pipe.

Mega Koopa Glitch

In Chapter 3-1, after the Koopa Troopa hits the block with the Mega Star, the player should press the home menu on the Wii Remote. When they press the button again and return to the game, the Mega Star will be dancing on the block and not touching the Koopa. The player has no choice but to reset the game at this point.

Flopside Pit of 100 Trials Freeze Glitch

After defeating Shadoo in the Flopside Pit of 100 Trials, go between two Treasure Chests as Mario, Peach, or Luigi. Then switch to Bowser. Sometimes if the player tries opening a chest, it will not only open that one but it will open the one on the other side of Bowser. If this happens, the game will freeze.

Mega Points/Damage

By using this glitch, the player can get nearly the same amount of points and damage amount as they would with a Mega Star. To execute, a player should head back to Chapter 1-1. In the area where there are two high walls, (one where a jump pad is used, and one where Mario flips and passes a lot of enemies.) Mario should go to the second wall, and flip. (Mario MUST have an item that targets an enemy to do this.) If the player uses a certain item (like Fire Burst or Ice Storm, because others like Shell Shock will not fully perform the glitch.) it will targets all the enemies, defeat all of them and give you about an 100,000 point bonus. Note that this works better with higher attack points.

The "Imfamous" Backwards High Jump Glitch

This glitch is actually pretty simple once a player understands it. Once the player has Luigi, Run in any direction, and High Jump. Depending on which way Luigi ran/jumped, while in the air, press the opposite direction. Luigi will fall that way, but it will be easy to see he keeps the other direction stance. (Hence the name, Backwards High Jump.)

2-D, While in 3-D?

Mario must have Slim the Pixl to do this. Players should have Mario flip, then use Slim. Mario has to run up against a wall and the glitch will be clear. It should look as if Mario is actually back in 2-D without the flip included.

Other Characters in The Third Demension Glitch

All the player has to do is flip, then switch characters while still in 3-D. The player will stay in 3-D for about 2 seconds, but then automatically flip back to 2-D. (But the character will not put his/her hands in the air like Mario does.)
