Today when I was playing DKL, I started to think how I wished that I could play the game in color on a 3D screen. It'd be really cool because DKL is only a Gameboy game and I really want to see it with awesome graphics and stuff. But then I remembered the 3DS and I thought how cool it would be if Donkey Kong Land could be in the 3DS virtual console with all that neat stuff I mentioned. Yeah, and now I'm really hoping to see that game on the 3DS! I'm also hoping for a DKL Returns on the 3DS someday. If there isn't one, Retro Studios will break the tradition. All the DKCs have a DKL game released after them. | |||
Yep. That's what I wanted to say. Oh yeah, and you were right in that edit summary. I did write all those DKC article a long time ago. I wrote some of them OVER a year ago. Yeah, I'm old. I was actually thinking of going back through those all over again and rewriting them a little. I have better grammar now, and most of those articles I wrote in the wrong tense. If you ever need something to edit, you are welcome to go through any DKC or DKL level article and make sure everything is in present tense (some of them contain the word "will" a lot, making it in future tense). Also, you don't have to do anything with those links. The ones that say things like <nowiki>[[Ellie the Elephant]]</nowiki> don't need to be changed to <nowiki>[[Ellie the Elephant|Ellie]]</nowiki>. I think they are fine the other way. I actually made the links like that to make it look like I wrote a little more ("Ellie the Elephant" is longer than just "Ellie.") Shh... But they are fine either way. | |||

- Oh yeah and I also love DKC2!!! It's my favorite game, even better than Donkey Kong Country Returns (don't look at what it says for my favorite game on my userpage because I've never felt to change it to DKC2)! I'm actually not the biggest fan of DKL2, but I really like the first Donkey Kong Land. It's a shame that the new Donkey Kong Country does not have any Kremlings. Fawfulfury65

I am hoping for a Donkey Kong Land Returns. The fourth DKC should have gone to Kiddy Kong since DK got DKC, Diddy got DKC2, and Dixie got DKC3. I also wouldn't mind a Donkey Kong Country Returns 2, even though if that happened, that would mean that Donkey Kong Country Returns is a separate series to DKC. But if there was one, Diddy would have to be the main hero with Dixie Kong at his side. Fawfulfury65
- I think it was because the system was discontinued before they could get one out, or because the Game Boy Advance was already out by then and they knew it wouldn't sell on the GBC anymore (since it was outdated). The GBC's limitations probably wouldn't allow some important parts of the game to work, like the Kackles (who don't even appear in DKL2). Fawfulfury65
