Seperate or Altogether?

I think it's a bit odd to have an article for a duo and then also have the individual articles for the duo. It's like having an article for the Mario Bros. I say that Gramma Red and Gramma Green should have their own seperate articles.

This article was better, so I kept it. Wa Yoshihead.png TC@Y
Yeah... Sorry for making seperate articles in the first place. The reason I did that was really because of that King and Queen Nimbus article... --YellowYoshi398 19:07, 11 December 2006 (EST)

Split Gramma Red and Gramma Green into Gramma Red and Gramma Green

They are two different characters with different names and different appearances. I say split them!

Support

  1. DKPetey99 (talk) Per my proposal.

Oppose

  1. UltraMario3000 (talk) They may be separate entities but if they were split it would result in 2 major stubs. Kinda like how Young Cricket and Master Mantis got merged. Also if they were split both of their articles would just lack info.
  2. Mariomario64 (talk) Per Ultramario3000.
  3. DK and Diddy Kong vs Bowser and Bowser Jr. (talk) Per all. Sorry DKPetey99
  4. Tails777 (talk) Per all. The 2 Toads look identical except for their colour. We don't need to small articles about 2 people who look the exact same.
  5. Bloc Partier (talk) - The articles would be nigh identical if split. It's much more efficient to keep together.
  6. Marioguy1 (talk) - I think that these characters always appear together; there would be nothing to put in one article that could not be simulated in the other. So I guess that's per Bloc Partier.
  7. SWFlash (talk) Per UltraMario3000.
  8. Reddragon19k (talk) No split on this one! That's a per all!
  9. Walkazo (talk) - Per all.
  10. Reversinator (talk) Per all.
  11. Mario4Ever (talk) Per all.
  12. Arend (talk) It's like Kluff 'N Klout. Gramma Red and Gramma Green are never separated, they look like each other, and have almost the same personalities. Plus, the article is currently very short. It's even a better idea to split Red and Green, the twin bridge masters of SPM.
  13. Magikrazy51 (talk) Per Arend.
  14. Bowser's luma (talk) Per all.
  15. Iggykoopa (talk) per UltraMario3000
  16. Zero777 (talk) Per my personal policy on separate articles in the comments
  17. Bop1996 (talk) Per all.
  18. Ultrahammer5365 (talk) Per the comments. Splitting this would result only in two strikingly similar stubs.

@UltraMario3000, not saying your wrong but look at Behemoth and Behemoth King, they were both merged, but do to similar circumstances, they got split! DKPetey99 (talk)
@DKPetey99, well they were split because they may been too different characters, but it would be a bad idea to split articles about minor RPG characters since most are small in size.(Plus Behemoth and Behemoth King actually had different qualities, and the original articles on them weren't small anyways.)--UM3000 E-102 Gamma.png
Most of the supporters of the split probably did not play the game anyway. Icon showing how many lives Mario has left. From Super Mario 64 DS. It's me, Mario! (Talk / Stalk) 21:08, 22 March 2011 (EDT)
Including me. And though I made that proposal because the two were different and yet they were merged, I'm not too sure about this proposal. Yes, these two are different people, but they're never seen apart, and most people that are always seen together are merged into one article. Honestly, I'm against this, but I think if these two are split, their articles will pretty much be the exact same thing. --Reversinator 17:47, 23 March 2011 (EDT)

I am Zero! @LGM: Wow, that was such a big middle finger what you just say. Zero signing out. Zero777 (talk)

Elaborate. She could be right, and it's not an insult or anything. --Reversinator 16:14, 24 March 2011 (EDT)
I am Zero! I would understand if there's like 5 supporters her but he directly meant me and the proposer. Why do I have to play the game to split it, does it mean I'm handicap if I didn't play the game, no, it is for consistency. Zero signing out. Zero777 (talk)
First of all, LGM is a twin sister of mine. Second of all, playing the game really helps with knowledge on your subject, but absolutely does not prevent you to make decisions based on what you read on the article. I played Mario and Luigi Partners in Time, and I know that these two people are too minor and both play an extremely similar role: they both sell stuff and both hid out during the invasion.
And Reversinator's right. She was not insulting you, but she really shouldn't assumed. BabyLuigiFire.pngRay Trace(T|C)

@Reversinator, I played the game, and I have beaten it like 7 times! I think I could help expand it if we split them (which we totally should)DKPetey99 07:47, 26 March 2011 (EDT)

So have I, which is why I opposed the merge of L33t Hamm3r Broz. And really, there's not much to them. Mario and Luigi walk in, the Grammas say how lonely it is in Toad Town, and then M & L buy stuff. Explain how Gramma Red and Gramma Green's articles wouldn't look the same. --Reversinator 07:52, 26 March 2011 (EDT)
We can use characteristics, personalities, we even should include quotes! DKPetey99 07:55, 26 March 2011 (EDT)
One, they look exactly the same, aside from color. Two, they don't have enough dialogue to show personality. Three, quotes will make the article bigger, but it doesn't add any info. --Reversinator 08:56, 26 March 2011 (EDT)

@Kaptain K. Rool: Your vote is invalid, what are you talking about? Zero777 (talk)

@Zero777: In that case I'll remove the vote since it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.UM3000 E-102 Gamma.png

Here's my thought on splitting or merging articles or just character articles overall: all characters must have their own respected articles unless they are almost always seen together and/or information are too similar that it will be more convenient for them to be together. Zero777 (talk)
