About Marioman5555

Hello. I am having problems with a user named Marioman5555. He has recently been putting up articles about Kingdom Sandwiches, a fanfic he made up. Thus I requested that these articles be deleted, as they are not relevant to Mario. However, Marioman5555 then decided to vandalize my User page (which you can see for yourself). What should I do about this problem? --Son of Suns 16:50, 15 May 2006 (EDT)

That should do it. I deleted most of the 'Kingdom Sandwiches' related topics (I say most because I don't know if I got them all or not), and am attempting to take out any 'Kingdom Sandwiches' links I find. Also, because he vandalized your user page, I blocked him from editing pages on the Super Mario Wiki for one week, so you won't hear from him until, at the least, next Monday. Also, I would not suggest keeping a list of 'vandalizations' on your user page. Not sure why... I just wouldn't suggest it. --DarkInsanity (talk)
There is still a Kingdom Sandwiches category page that needs to be deleted. Thanks for the help! --Son of Suns 18:23, 17 May 2006 (EDT)

I hope you havent been living in a rock

if you havent noticed with your sony-like reflexes, you should go to ign more often, maybe gamespot too, heres the source so you can get updated on Super Mario Galaxy. http://media.revolution.ign.com/articles/706/706227/vids_1.html

Rock indeed. Thank you for your source, though I still have noticed that you have the unnerving habit of simply copying articles from Wikipedia, and importing them into the Super Mario Wiki, like your recent Wii article. If you do this, and were not the one to compose the original Wikipedia article, please put in italics at the bottom of the imported page "Retrieved from <article link>." -DarkInsanity (talk)

Super Mario Advance 6

I'm a bit curious about Super Mario Advance 6. I poked around a bit and I couldn't find anything about it. Could you give me a link to your source? Also, don't you find this a bit... unusual. Mario is Missing didn't sell very well in the U.S., the GBA is obsolete thanks to the DS, and there's no Super Mario Advance 5. How reliable is this source? --Wanderingshadow

I havn't done any editing on a SMA6; are you confusing me with someone else? I also did a search for that game on the wiki, I couldn't find anything. Though if there is something, we should probably delete it. I havn't heard of a SMA6 anywhere, either. -DarkInsanity (talk)

Deleting

I was going to work on some of the deleted stuff you did, just came by to tell you. I don't get on as much as before. Elite Yoshi 19:02, 30 Mar 2006 (EST)Elite Yoshi

Alright, though hopefully you have noticed that the new user Salty has done more for this wiki then you, and you've been here for a week. Also, don't create blank pages, than leave them blank. Before you even make the first save, make sure a sentence or two is on there, if not the full article you're going to type. Blank pages = bad karma. Also, what have we deleted of yours, anyway? -DarkInsanity (talk)
But the past few weeks, i've haven't been on for a long time like Salty. Sometimes I make blank pages and leave it blank so i can work on it later. hte worked deleted from me was the golden mushroom. I'm sorry, i was trying to let other peolpe have a chance if they made a blank page and will come back to work on it later. See ya Elite Yoshi--Elite Yoshi 13:21, 31 Mar 2006 (EST)

Main Page Talk

You seem to be the only sysop logged on right now, so I was wondering why the Main Page discussion is protected from editting. On other wikis, it is for discussion of wiki projects and such. SaltyTalk! 19:32, 30 Mar 2006 (EST)

No clue, ask Porplemontage; he's the head guy around here. Though my idea would be so people wouldn't delete the "clear cache" item in there, as well as that page is highly public, and thus highly suceptable to vandalism and whatnot. -DarkInsanity (talk)
Just take a look at the history of the page. We never used it, and all we did was revert it from vandalism. I'll open it up sometime soon, now that I'm here more I can better put up with the vandalism. --Steve (talk) 20:03, 30 Mar 2006 (EST)
