Template:Character-infobox Lord Frederick is the main antagonist and final boss of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. He is the leader of the group of Viking known as Snowmads, who took over Donkey Kong Island and claim it as their territory.

History

Lord Frederick and his Snowmad minions invaded Donkey Kong Island on his birthday, kicking out Kongs and stations ship on top of Volcano of the island, claiming the entire island. Later Donkey Kong and his Kong companions find him inside a volcano. Lord Frederick then challenges Kongs in a fight but is defeated. Upon his defeat, he is kicked out of the island, crashing into the sea where his ships and other Snowmads are stationed. His horn is now used by Donkey Kong; with it, he changes Donkey Kong Island back to normal, melting the snow and ice.

General Information

Physical Description

Lord Frederick is a large, obese walrus with mustache, just like Waldoughs. Just like other Snowmads, he wears a helmet with two spikes on each side. He has a dark mustache, two eyes that shine in sky blue, and two fangs. Along with his shining eyes, jewels on top of his helmet, gloves and belt are shining in sky blue. His shoulder and bottom is covered with white fur, and the latter resembles a pants made with fur. He carries a wooden horn, which is used to summon the ice dragon. A jewel in the middle of his belt has a snowflake pattern.

Strategy

Lord Frederick mainly uses his white horn to attack. At first, he jumps into the background and summons six Snowmad minions, which can be stomped on and thrown at him to cause him damage. When hit, he comes out of the background, and tries to ram into Kongs by dashing into them. In that case, he can be stepped on, which can cause damage to him. Another pattern involves him summoning ice dragons. The ice dragons travel either up and down, which can be dodged by either crouching or jumping.
