The interior of the Lakitu Info Center located in Sunbeam Plains.

The Lakitu Info Center (known as the Lakitu Info Centre in PAL versions) is a series of locations in Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam. Located in most major areas of the game, the Lakitu Info Centers let the party play both new Toad rescue missions as well as revisit ones they've already completed.

Many of these missions have alternate hard mode versions, and beating them gives the player Medals, with a certain number getting them an exclusive Battle Card. The missions are organized by location, and a full list can be found below.

Each Lakitu Info Center also contains a Warp Pipe leading to an arcade, where the player can participate in a variety of minigames based on previous boss battles, Bros. Attacks, Trio Attacks, and Papercraft battles.

Missions

This section is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it is being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.

Note that Bowser's Castle and Neo Bowser Castle are considered the same area as far as Lakitu Center missions go.

Sunbeam Plains

Paper Toad Rescue "Save the Paper Toads that are hiding or captured by enemies!" "Save all the Paper Toads." N/A This is the only Sunbeam Plains quest to involve enemies.
Paper Toad Hide-and-Seek "Paper Toads are hiding all over the place. Find them all!" "Find all of the hidden Paper Toads." N/A
Paper Toad Corral "Corral the Paper Toads!" "The Paper Toads are trying to escape. Corral them into one spot!" "Squeeze all the Paper Toads through the crack in the wall." The harder version of the mission has faster Toads who try and escape on their own.

Mushroom Foraging "Help Toad recover all the mushrooms he dropped!" "Collect all of the mushrooms." N/A

Doop Doop Dunes

Mission Name Description Objective Hard Mode Objective Notes
Catch Nabbit! "Chase and capture Nabbit while avoiding the spiked balls he throws." "Catch Nabbit!" N/A
Desert Rescue Party "Bowser's minions have kidnapped the Paper Toads. Rescue them all!" "Rescue all Paper Toads within the time limit." "Rescue all Paper Toads within the time limit. Hard Mode!" The player has 20 minutes to save seven Toads in normal mode, and just 10 minutes to save ten Toads in hard mode. This is also the only Doop Doop Dunes quest that involves enemies.
Paper Toad Tailgate "Rescue all the Paper Toads, and deliver them safely to the Lakitu." "Rescue all of the Paper Toads." "Rescue all the Paper Toads without being hit once." The player has to avoid being hit at all in hard mode, whereas they can make two mistakes before failing in normal mode.
The Stone Prison "Free the Paper Toads by smashing the stone blocks. Be careful not to squish the Paper Toads!" "Rescue all the Paper Toads." "Rescue all the Paper Toads. Hard Mode!" The harder version has more challenging puzzles.
Safe by a Sandslide / Quicksand Rescue "Save all the Paper Toads that are trapped in the sand flow / quicksand. Be careful not to get hit by any bombs or blocks." "Rescue all the Paper Toads." "Rescue all the Paper Toads. Hard Mode!" Mario has to hit the largest blocks with a single hammer swing to stop them for a Trio Hammer attack. The harder version also has more and faster blocks to destroy.
Nabbit Multiplication "Chase and tackle the real Nabbit! Watch out for fakes!" "Catch Nabbit!" N/A
Toad Trivia "A Toad trivia master challenges you with another quiz. Hope you pass the test!" "Answer three or more questions correctly." "Answer all questions correctly." Hard mode has more questions, each of which are timed for 10 seconds.

Twinsy Tropics

Mission Name Description Objective Hard Mode Objective Notes
Stuff Retrieval "The Hammer Bros. stole your Command Blocks. Defeat them to get your stuff back!" "Retrieve everything that was taken from you." N/A Regardless of when the player plays this mission, they always get the same stuff back in the same order. The player can also use Battle Cards on repeat plays.
Tropical Paper Toad Hunt "Rescue all the Paper Toads in the area." "Rescue all the Paper Toads." N/A
Paper Toad Flurry "Catch all the Paper Toads before they hit the ground!" "Catch all the Paper Toads." "Catch all the Paper Toads. Hard Mode!" In hard mode, the player cannot let even a single Paper Toad touch the ground.
Fly Guy Patrol "Rescue the Paper Toads without being spotted by the nosy Fly Guys." "Rescue all the Paper Toads." "Rescue all the Paper Toads. Hard Mode!" In normal mode, the player can be spotted twice without failing the mission. In hard mode, the player cannot be seen even once.
Paper Toad Sand Scramble "Paper Toads are running wild around Twinsy Tropics. Catch 'em all!" "Catch all the Paper Toads." "Catch all the Paper Toads within the time limit."
Lost Toads Corral "The Toads are lost and panicking. Lead them to safety!" "Lead all the Toads to the safe zone." N/A This is one of the few Toad hunt challenges where the player has to collect normal Toads rather than paper ones.
Paper Toad Shuffle "Paper Toads are popping up everywhere! Find 'em all - even the sneaky ones." "Catch all the Paper Toads." N/A
Hunt for the Medallion "Find and defeat the enemy who ran off with the medallion!" "Retrieve the medallion." N/A
Toad Brain "Another Toad with a batch of brain benders. Can you pass the test?" "Answer three or more questions correctly." "Answer all questions correctly." Hard mode has more questions, each of which are timed for 10 seconds.

Gloomy Woods

Mission Name Description Objective Hard Mode Objective Notes
Wait Up, Yoshi! "Who's faster, you or Yoshi? Be the first to get to the goal!" "Reach the goal before Yoshi." "Reach the goal before Yoshi. Hard Mode!" Yoshi's A.I. is better on hard mode, and he's faster in general.
Outta the Way, Kamek! "Kamek has blocked the way forward. Chase him off with bomb buds!" "Hit Kamek three times with bomb buds." N/A
Pop Quiz with Know-It-All Toad "Square off with a know-it-all Toad to see who knows the most!" "Answer three or more questions correctly." "Answer all questions correctly." Hard mode has more questions, each of which are timed for 10 seconds.
Fly Guy Flyby "Rescue the Paper Toads before the Fly Guys make off with them." "Rescue all Paper Toads before time runs out." N/A There are far more enemies in Gloomy Woods when playing this mission, and the player cannot flee a battle when they start it.
Skyjinks with Nabbit "Bounce from cloud to cloud and catch up with Nabbit before he can escape again!" "Catch Nabbit!" "Catch Nabbit. Hard Mode!" In hard mode, Nabbit can escape if any cloud is left, not just ones nearby. The course layouts are also more difficult.
Back Atcha, Roy! "Roy's back for revenge. Snare some bombs and blast him out of your way!" "Hit Roy with three bombs." "Hit Roy with three bombs. Hard Mode!" Hard mode has a timer, and if the player gets hit once, the mission is over. Roy's attack pattern and the movements of the Fly Guys are also different in hard mode.
Bye-Bye, Boo "A fiercely determined Boo won't stop chasing you!" "Stay safe until the timer runs out." "Stay safe until the timer runs out. Hard Mode!" The amount of bros left standing at the left determines how many coins the player gets. In hard mode, the obstacles are much trickier to avoid.

Mount Brrr

Mission Name Description Objective Hard Mode Objective Notes
Paper Toad Peel-Off "Paper Toads are stuck tight to the wall! Drill dash at them to rescue them." "Catch all the Paper Toads." N/A
Paper Toad Freeze-Out "Paper Toads are hiding all over the village. Find them before they freeze!" "Find all the Paper Toads." "Find all the Paper Toads before time runs out." Hard mode requires the player to collect 16 Toads instead of 12, and has some trickier hiding places for them. This is also the only randomised Paper Toad mission, so the locations in which the Toads are found varies for each attempt. It's also one of two missions where Paper Fuzzies can be fought.
Bubble Trouble "Paper Toads have been spotted floating above the mountains in bubbles! You'll have to get creative to rescue them..." "Rescue all the Paper Toads." N/A
Paper Toad Patrol "Paper Toads are in peril all over the mountain! Can you save them all?" "Rescue all the Paper Toads." N/A
Yoshi Rush "Yoshi is faster than he looks. Race him to the finish!" "Reach the goal before Yoshi." "Reach the goal before Yoshi. Hard Mode!" The player can slow down Yoshi by solving the different puzzles before he reaches them. If done so, he'll temporarily burst into tears upon reaching them, implying that he set the traps beforehand. In hard mode, the course is more difficult and Yoshi's A.I. is better.
Sky High Flyby "Jump at just the right time to rescue the Toads. And watch out for bombs!" "Rescue all the Toads." "Rescue all the Toads. Hard Mode!" Red Toads are easiest to get with Mario, green ones with Luigi and yellow ones with Paper Mario, though it is possible to ignore this. In hard mode, the Fly Guy ordering is more complex, and the player cannot make a single mistake.
Mystery of Mount Brrr "Move the blocks to solve the puzzle on the outside of Mount Brrr." "Move the pink and blue blocks in the matching goal spots." "Move the pink and blue blocks in the matching goal spots. Hard Mode!" In hard mode, the layout is more challenging.
Mountain of Knowledge "Another Toad with brain-bending questions awaits! Good luck!" "Answer three or more questions correctly." "Answer all questions correctly." Hard mode has more questions, each of which are timed for 10 seconds.

Bowser's Castle / Neo Bowser Castle

Mission Name Description Objective Hard Mode Objective Notes
Toadette in Trouble "Rescue Toadette before the Fly Guy makes off with her!" "Rescue Toadette." N/A If the player fails to rescue Toadette and battle the Fly Guy, it will fly out of the window with her, and the player will have to start the whole quest over again.
Hide-and-Sneak "Make your way to Bowser Jr. and Paper Bowser Jr. without being seen by any minions." "Catch both Bowser Jrs." N/A If the player fails on the second part of the mission, they will only have to do that part again when they retry. It is also possible to avoid most of the enemies in part one by taking a detour around the sides of the area.
Bombs Away "Use Trio Grab to toss bombs at Iggy, Wendy and Bowser!" "Defeat Iggy, Wendy, and Bowser." "Defeat Iggy, Wendy, and Bowser. Hard Mode!" Hard mode has trickier bomb throwing platforms. This is also Bowser's first "boss battle" in the game.
Hammer, Bros! "Use your hammer to knock the cannonballs back at Morton. Try teaming up for the big ones..." "Defeat Morton." "Defeat Morton. Hard Mode!" The name is a pun on name "Hammer Bros". Also, Mario has to hit the giant cannonballs with a normal swing first in order to stop them for a follow up Trio Hammer, like in Quicksand Rescue. Hard mode has a more complicated series of cannonballs to deflect.
Bad Nabbit "Face off against Nabbit - and team up with him - in a wild chase through Neo Bowser Castle!" "Defeat all enemies and catch Nabbit." N/A Depending on the coins collected, Nabbit will either drop beans, DX beans or clothing upon each defeat.
Final Smash "Fight your way through Neo Bowser Castle, and smash the cannon before time runs out." "Smash the giant cannon." "Smash the giant cannon. Hard Mode!" In hard mode, there are more enemies and the time limit is stricter. This is also one of two missions where Fuzzies can be fought, alongside Paper Toad Freeze-Out.
