Ice Watermelons are blue, cold Watermelons in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. If a Yoshi eats it, the Yoshi will be able to shoot ice, because the Watermelon is cold. The ice can freeze enemies and they can then be smashed. In Special #5, Items are fun!, Yoshi had to frezee two Tap-Taps and leap off them to acess an otherwise unreachable area.
