Warioland 4 (book)
Wario Land 4 is a decide-your-own-adventure book based on the Gameboy Advance game Wario Land 4 by Craig Wessel, starring the game's protagonist; Wario. Published in 2002, it is the fourth and last book in the Game Boy book series. The book has 74 pages included as well as an 8 page color insert. The plot of the book is about Wario retelling the story of how he raided the Golden Pyramid and recovered the ancient treasure, while saving the lengendary Princess Shokora. At the end of each page, there are multiple choices of what will happen next, and the pages to turn to for that choice. Every choice the reader makes will affect the storyline, and ultimatly, the ending. The goal is to read through to the "real ending" and escape the pyramid with the treasure and The Princess. Apart from the story, there is a game guide and tips for the game Wario Land 4.
Sales were quite poor, and alot of critisism was made about how "it does nothing to keep the readers attention". A full review can be found at the below external link.
