This is what I propose we use in place of the current Alien and Cosmic Species Templates. It is better for navigation as it divides the characters and species. It would be best to have "Alien" in the title, as that is what those characters are in relation to the Mushroom World. Technically, this means the Smithy Gang and all the beings in Super Paper Mario are aliens too, but that's what the "Cosmic" reference is for: to establish we mean Extraterrestrial-type aliens, as opposed to average forgeiners. (Not including Smithy et. al makes this template more specific and thereby more useful; they and the SPM enemies should get their own templates instead.) "Extraterrestrial" itself can't be used, because that refers to things not from Earth (it's Latin). The real problem is which of the existing templates to use, and which one to scrap. I feel "Aliens" is easier to write, and a more natural choice; whereas Cosmic Species has seniority. Here is the Proposal concerning all this.
