Wario's Castle after Mario collects all six coins.

Wario's Castle is the place where Wario lives in Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. This castle originally belonged to Mario, but Wario had hired a space man named Tatanga to kidnap Daisy of Sarasaland and draw Mario's attention away. During the events of Super Mario Land 2, Wario took that time to cast an evil spell over Mario Land, changing its inhabitants into his mindless followers and ultimately transforming Mario's Castle into his own fortress. Wario's Castle substitutes Bowser's Castles of the past, and in certain aspects Wario's is harder to defeat than Bowser's. Wario is seen running back and forth on the top and inside of the castle.

In Wario Land, the amount of money the player earns in the game dignifies what the size of Wario's castle is. The smallest castle to earn is a bird house, and the largest is a planet with Wario's face on the surface.

In the SNES version of Wario's Woods, Wario's castle makes a brief apperance. It is first seen as the final level of the game as it is the setting in where Toad, the game's protagonist must fight the other bosses, including Wario himself. The castle also appears at the end of game after Toad had defeated Wario. As Wario rages on about his defeat by plane, Toad throws one final bomb at his castle. The explosion of the bomb causes the castle as well as Wario and his plane to go crashing down in defeat.

In Wario Land II, Captain Syrup sneaks into the castle and steals massive amounts of treasure from Wario early in the morning dawn. She floods the castle and he spends the game in search of his treasure and the crooked Captain.

In Wario World, Wario laughs greedily at the mountains of treasure placed in his throne room. His happiness is short lived when a mysterious treasure of his he stole awoke, The Black Jewel.

The Black Jewel destroyed Wario's Castle and turned it into its own world. Wario, to get his castle and possessions back, went through the five worlds the Jewel had made.

The worlds the Black Jewel turned the castle into are as follows:
