I'm going to find a better picture of him, okay?SaudyTalk!

I believe that Eyerok WAS the power star? Any people who think so?

I thought Eyerock called itself "we"? "We ancient ones," "We no like light. We no like INTRUDERS!" "What happen? We crush like pebble" These are all quotes from them in SM64DS, and probably from SM64. This likely signifies that Eyerock is two separate beings. So should all the "it"s and such being changed to "they"s and "them"s? Eyerok is probably speaking with nosism, like Queen Bee, since it's an ancient being. I don't think you should make that change. ThirdMarioBro: Mario, Luigi, and me! 15:16, 4 June 2011 (EDT)

Wouldn't it be saying "we" because it's two hands?

"Eyerok mentions he has been sleeping forever, but Bowser says he gave the stars to his troops in the walls."

It's always possible that Bowser placed the star in there without waking up Eyerok. Eyerok was put there to protect something in the first place, (Seeing how it's a coffin, that something would likely be a dead pharaoh or something like that.) Bowser likely took advantage of that and placed the star in there too.Touma101 (talk)

No, because Eyerok mentions the Star when defeated:
"Grrrrumbbble! What...happen? We...crushed like pebble. You so strong! You rule ancient pyramid! For today... Now, take Star of Power. We...sleep...darkness."

How many lives?Edit

I'm confused. When I fought Eyerok, I had to hit each eye three times. But I watched a video of the fight and the player hit each eye twice, not thrice. Does it have something to do with the order that you hit the eyes, like you have to alternate? I'm confused.  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 11:25, 23 September 2016 (EDT)

Can I see that video? I need to make sure of something.   Yoshi the SSM (talk) 13:21, 23 September 2016 (EDT)
Was he playing as Wario? Wario only needs to hit each one twice.    13:49, 23 September 2016 (EDT)
Oh, that explains it. Yes he was Wario. Here's a link to the video: [1]. The Eyerok fight is at 7:53.  Ultimate Mr. L (Talk) 16:46, 23 September 2016 (EDT)

Clip through thumbEdit

When I stepped on the steps that turn into Eyerok, I clipped through its right thumb when it rose up. Should I add this?

It's a minor glitch that probably occurred because you were too far forward when the cutscene started. Not notable enough to be mentioned in the article.

"The" EyerokEdit

Mission Mode in Mario Kart DS refers to refers to Eyerok as "the Eyerok", and the article was recently edited to reflect this. However, the Super Mario 64 Player's Guide does not do this. Also, the Player's Guide uses male pronouns, not genderless ones like the article currently does. Thoughts?    19:14, October 22, 2021 (EDT)

I think both could work, with Mario Kart DS being the latest depiction and the gender being sourced in official material.   Nightwicked Bowser   19:29, October 22, 2021 (EDT)
Yeah, I'm gonna go ahead and edit Eyerok's article to reflect that he wasn't called the Eyerok until Mario Kart DS PrincessPeachFan (talk) 23:37, December 2, 2021 (EST)
You're missing the point, the Player's Guide scan above calls him "Eyerok." Never mind, that was just written confusingly. My apologies. Doc von Schmeltwick (talk) 23:50, December 2, 2021 (EST)
Also, in Mission Mode's selection screen, Eyerok is called "the Eyerok", but when you start the boss battle, he's just referred to as Eyerok. PrincessPeachFan (talk) 08:51, December 3, 2021 (EST)
Probably because the second screen would look a little awkward otherwise. LinkTheLefty (talk) 11:19, December 5, 2021 (EST)
