Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga / Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga + Bowser's MinionsEdit
The Mario Bros. having their photograph taken in the 3DS remake
The photographer appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and returns in its Nintendo 3DSremake.
When Mario and Luigi are aboard the Koopa Cruiser, two sections away from the first section, three Koopas can be found lining up to have their pictures taken by a Koopa photographer. If initially spoken to, the photographer will tell the Mario Bros. that he is busy and not to talk to him. When the brothers walk past him, he asks if they have their passports ready. After looking inside their suitcase and noticing their lack of photos, he warns them that they will not be able to cross the border without them. The photographer offers to take their pictures and tells them to stand on the mat.
When the brothers stand on the mat, he tells them not to make any silly poses and snaps a picture for each of them. If spoken to after the photographs are taken, he tells the Mario Bros. that they have official documents and that they now will be able to enter the Beanbean Kingdom.
The photographer shows the Mario Bros. their passports and stats on them, by the player using to open their suitcase. Before taking the photo, the player can press any direction on to make Mario or Luigi select a pose for their photo. This feature is also in the 3DS remake with to open the suitcase and to pose for photos.
4koma Gag Battle: Mario & Luigi: Superstar SagaEdit
In the 4koma Gag Battle manga, there are several panels set aboard the Koopa Cruiser featuring the photographer. He comments on the green clothes Luigi is wearing before taking the photo. During the photoshoot, another Koopa asks for help catching a disobedient Goomba. The photographer snaps both brothers' photos and hands them back their passports.
