Room 5-2 (titled Room 4-2 in the British English version) is the second course of Lava Dome in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis. This level introduces Lava Fountains.
The course features four Mini Marios.
OverviewEdit
The course is divided into two levels. One Mini Mario begins in the bottom left, near a pool of lava which contains a Lava Rock; a Lava Fountain will erupt periodically underneath the Lava Rock. Above the lava pool are two more Mini Marios, as well as a row of Crumble Blocks underneath a Warp Pipe which leads to another pipe above and to the right of the exit. To the right of the Crumble Blocks is a curved Warp Pipe which leads to a ledge to the left of the Goal Door. At the end of the ledge is another shorter pipe which takes the Minis to a pipe between two Fire Bars; this pipe leads to a ledge on the course's right, near another pool of lava with a Lava Rock in it. Two Lava Fountains erupt when the Lava Rock reaches either end of the lava. The fourth Mini Mario begins on a ledge directly above the rightmost Warp Pipe. To reach the exit, the player should guide the Mini Marios across the lava and Crumble Blocks so they can enter the pipes near the goal, then direct them into the exit.
Mini Mario CardEdit
The Mini Mario Card is on the right side of the rightmost lava pool. It can be collected by guiding the nearby Mini onto the Lava Rock when the Lava Fountain on the right erupts; the Mini will collect the card as the Lava Rock falls back down.
