Lob to Rob is a Duel minigame that is found in Mario Party 8.

IntroductionEdit

The player standing on the wooden box hits a Mushroom target as the Goombas cheer. The screen then splits before the minigame starts.

GameplayEdit

The players have to use the Wii Remote to point at the mushroom targets and shoot them within the time limit. There are two types of mushroom targets: the Super Mushroom (worth 10 points) and the 1-Up Mushroom (worth 30 points). If the player shoots a Goomba target, they lose 10 points. If the player knocks out all non-Goomba targets, a new set of targets is swapped in. The player who has more points when time runs out wins. If both players have the same number of points at the end of the minigame, it is declared a tie.

EndingEdit

Mario wins the minigame while Wario runs away from the Goombas.

The winner stands on the wooden box and does their winning animation as the loser is chased by a group of Goombas into the forest. If the minigame ends in a tie, the players perform their losing animations as the Goombas jump up and down.
