Room 2-9 (titled Room 1-9 in the British English version) is the ninth course of Tropical Island in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis.
The course features three Mini Marios.
OverviewEdit
All three Mini Marios start at the top of the course: two are on the topmost level, which contains rows of Crumble Blocks and a single Cuttacutta blocked off by two walls of Pink Blocks, and one begins on the level directly below, which contains a few more Crumble Blocks and a gap for Pink Blocks. Just below the gap are four Cuttacuttas and some spikes to their left, and to the right is a ? Block above a Yellow Spring as well as an elevator leading to the lower levels. The exit is on a ledge near the bottom; to reach it, the Mini Marios must hit a ? Block on the bottom left to release a Fire Flower, then use the Fire Flower to shoot a fireball and stun the Capture Kong guarding the door before they enter.
Mini Mario CardEdit
The Mini Mario Card is located in the middle of the level, above the group of four Cuttacuttas. To obtain it, the player should guide a Mini Mario to the elevator on the right, then descend to the second level and jump on the nearby Yellow Spring to hit the ? Block, then take the elevator back to its highest point. The player must next shoot some fireballs to dispatch the Cuttacuttas, then guide the Mini into the card.
