Talk:Mouser
Wait... so why should this be merged?Knife (talk)
- Cause we have two pages with the same information. -- Son of Suns
Mouser is about the boss, Mousers is about the species. I think they should remain separate. - User:Ultimatetoad
- I agree with Ultimatetoad!! But this is confusing with the Little Mousers, Squeeks and Nomadimice things...ugh. Too much Mice. Paper Jorge
- But the bosses are the species. They are not a seperate character; they have always been a species. -- Son of Suns
It is reffered to as Mouser in SMB2 not "The Mousers".
Split
Should Mouser, the character from the cartoon and comics, maybe get his own article? Similar to whats been down with Klump (character) and Krusha (character). -- Sir Grodus
Well, is he a distinct character? Is there only one? Does he have a special name?Knife (talk) 18:48, 27 February 2007 (EST)
He has an accent and aided Bowser in his various schemes and was a member of the Koopa Pack. The comics also gave him a distinctive backstory and history. Another Mouser was briefly seen in the cartoon, though it didn't say or do anything and was simply gone a shot later, leading me to believe it may have been an animation mistake or something. Aside from his various aliases, no, he has "The Species Name", like Yoshi, Toad, Birdo and my example characters above.
Also, just to point-out, the comics showed that Mouser's species all look exactly identical to him, only differing in personality. -- Sir Grodus
Yeah, then I can understand how he deserves his own article. Its fine by me but remember that you have to move all character specific info to that article.Knife (talk) 20:55, 27 February 2007 (EST)
I'll get on it, once I get more information, which could take a while. -- Sir Grodus
I don't think you should. Reason being, with Klump and Keusha, they were a species in the games while a character in the show. With Mouser, it's the other way around. The Mouser from the show, and the game Mouser are the same person. -Ultimatetoad 17:48, 16 March 2007 (EDT)
I plan on watching every episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! and if more than one Mouser appears, than I may call-off my creation of an article for him. But theres still the question of his Nintendo Comics System version (see "A Mouser in the Houser" for more details), Mousers were never called Mousers in the comics, they were just "mice", with the name Mouser being reserved for a single Mouser, who is implied to be the same one from The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!
Additionally, I think the Mousers in Super Mario Bros. 2 are a species, they look somewhat different, with the second one having green ears and being slightly lighter in color. -- Sir Grodus
- I think it's a matter or whether we think the Mouser from the comics is worthy of his own article, or should he just be mentioned in this article. -- Son of Suns
Uh, this is confusing, so far theres:
Mouser: The species of bosses from Super Mario Bros. 2, throws bombs, works for Wart.
Mouser: (various aliases): King Koopa's German accented sidekick/second-in-command/punching bag.
Mouser: Former king of the mice, joined Bowser and tried to destroy the Warp Pipe system, hates cheese.
Then theres the Little Mousers, Squeeks, Nomadimice and not to mention the Mousersaurus Rex. -- Sir Grodus
