Twist 'n' Out is a Battle mini-game found in Mario Party 5.

This mini-game consists of trying to push the other players or CPUs to the tornado. To do this, the player must hit his or her opponents outside of the safe area (the eye of the tornado) by hitting them with a hammer. To win, all the player has to do is to be the last one standing. When and where the hammer hits changes the direction the characters fly when knocked.

The background is unique to this mini-game. It takes place in a small garden full of purple, pink and orange flowers. In the middle there is a round patch of grass with a yellow star in it (maybe they are grass-tall flowers?). The introduction of the mini-game shows the players looking at how a Tweester comes and a tornado begins. Why they were holding hammers in the beginning is a mystery.

Once someone wins, the tornado will disappear and the losers will fall from the sky confused. The cloudy day will turn sunny and the winner will do his or her common dance. This is one of the two games in which Tweester makes an appearance.

In-Game Instructions

Stay in the eye of the tornado, and don't get knocked outside. The last one standing wins.

Advice
Use the hammer to knock your opponents into the tornado. The direction they fly depends on when and where the hammer hits.
