User talk:Stumpers
Hey, Stumper -
- When creating new sections, please use two equal signs inbetween text (==) instead of one. Using one makes it as big as the page title, which is confusing. The standard is two, sub-section three, sub-sub-section four. Wayoshi ( T·C·@ ) 22:06, 9 August 2006 (EDT)
So sorry! I didn't realize that. Plus, I only just now checked the discussion section... yikes! How long have you had to correct me? This must be a pretty bad problem with me... I've seen HK correct me too on another page. Oh, well. Thank you so much for telling me. -Stumpers
Edits
Oh, darn. I just noticed that you guys have been editing this user page... ouch... thanks for catching my errors, though. It feels sort of weird to have another user come in and edit a page about me, though... but as long as it's only basic errors, then no issues here. Do me a favor though: let me know when you do using the discussion page, or save yourself some time and just tell me about it. I'll get to it ;).-Stumpers
- You're fine actually. Thanks for fixing what you did. -Stumpers
Categories
Adding categories to an article is quite easy actually. You just link to it. Just like [[Category:Games]]. ;) Cobold 17:28, 10 February 2007 (EST)
Thanks! I'll try it out next time! --Stumpers

Rundown Walkup
* I have not seen a character have two entrances. If you have, please link a video or something (because it'd be cool to see). I know Peach walks in while Mario and DK drop in, but that's not significant evidence to say that there are two entrances per character. So you probably have other evidence... so I want to know about it! * Same thing for Daisy's two uniforms... please give a link! * Thank you for addressing the bios. I was second guessing myself while making them in regards to the same issue. Still, I don't know why you deleted even the information regarding their play styles. I'll recheck my source (the UK website) and get back to them. * Why do we have to wait for names with the Mega Strikes before we tell people what they look like? Look around the Wiki--there are plenty of articles about topics from upcoming games that do not have official names yet, but likely will as time passes. So, why should we neglect our readers of that? * Why did you downgrade the uniform details? Are we referring to the team uniform and not each character's personal uniform? If that's the case, maybe I'll find a screenshot of each character to go with each bio (the Mega Strikes blur the characters and don't show the whole uniform) * One last minor thing, "Signature L symbol with electric flowing around it" You reverted/wrote this in the article. Electric is an adjective, and electricity is a noun, so I think electricity would fit better here. Or you could say lightning bults or electric bursts or whatever. It's not a big thing at all.
- Okie you make this difficult but I'll get some video links right now (gosh this whole thing is gonna take awhile but it's worth it meh?
GDC '07 Striker Gameplay (480p Off-Screen) Mario Ground and DK Air: http://media.wii.ign.com/media/846/846913/vids_1.html Off-Screen (GC 2006) Mario Air and Bowser Ground: http://media.wii.ign.com/media/846/846913/vids_2.html As you can see in these two videos Mario jumps down on the ground entrance but there's less air time and more ground time and a slightly different cut-scene than when he falls.
- Ha the two uniforms one is easy.
Teal outfit: Orange outfit: As to how these outfits work is unknown to me but we'll know once the game is released or sooner.
- About the bios what I meant was, even if they are quoted, (which most bios should be) they should be appearing in a section of information on the characters page not the game page. In fact I was second guessing weather the whole character setup should be how it is on the page but if anything doesn't go it's character bios. You can look at the bottom of Daisy's page to see what I mean.
- I know it sounded wrong when I said wait but I think making up a definition for something without a name yet should stay without a definition but maybe I'll get around to tweaking those.
- The uniform details could be more detailed but due to some people having such plain uniforms I felt it necessary to make others equal in length but I can tweak that too.
- About the electric/electricity thing, DARN I knew there was another way to write that! Thanks for the fix :P
I'm considering that Daisy has alternate color scheme outfits, because some characters has the same uniform colors, like luigi and yoshi have similar green outfits. to make da difference, Daisy has an alternate color, maybe to difference between characters that have the same colors scheme (as DK, who has yellow armor that can be confused as the golden rod armor of Daisy). members of yoshi's team has default green armor as his captain. but it be change by orange if another character with green accents goes to play (luigi for example)... €zlo
- Yeah, i'm making an hypothesis about this; more info coming soon, ok?
Hello
Mario Strikers Charged
It's known as soccer in two regions - Canada and the US. Everywhere - everywhere else in the world, it's known as football. Football is bigger everywhere else in the world than our football is here. Why should we cater to the minority? It's completely absurd to say "comes out in Europe first? A sport that is more popular in Europe? Well, who cares? Let's not cater to the larger group!". - A Link to the Past
I would just like to state to the person reading this page that I never made any of the statements Link is saying I did. All I did was improve Mario Strikers Charged astronomically. It was a stub when I found it, for goodness' sake. I hope never to run into Link again. He is a pitiful debator and was a hindrence to my work on the article. Thank you. --Stumpers
Thx for backing me up. Max2 (talk) Actually, I make WAY more good edits than Link. I make 2-3 a day (j/k) no, but still, thx.
I was screaming bad things out loud! j/k. YA RLY. This guy's a pain! I mean, he's some sorta Wikipedian Brithish Snob! Max2 (talk)
Alright this has gone long enough, please stop insulting members of the Mariowiki. Great Gonzo
He's actually American, and I'm sorry if I've offended you Gonzo... but I have this tendency to 'splode when people get in my face. I think I contained it well, considering what I would have been saying in person :o --Stumpers

- Why do you so want complete uniformity that demands all articles to be based on the NA release? - A Link to the Past 22:14, 17 May 2007 (EDT)
