Jigglypuff attacking in Super Smash Bros. Melee

Jigglypuff is a character from the Pokémon series. It is a round, pink, ball-like Pokémon that can float through the air for a short time.

Mario encounters Jigglypuff in Super Smash Bros. and Super Smash Bros. Melee. In both games he is an unlockable character. He can be unlocked by beating the 1-Player mode of either game one time, with any character. He will than challenge the player to a fight. If the player wins, Jigglypuff will become playable.

It's number in the National Pokédex is 39. Jigglypuffs are classified as Balloon Pokémon.

In the anime, Jigglypuff was one of the only character Pokémon not owned by a trainer. Jigglypuff wanders around the regions and has appeared in several episodes. Jigglypuff is really a bother to the other characters as he puts them to sleep every time he sings.

His moves are as followed (from Melee)

B - Rollout

B → - Pound

B ↑ - Sing

B ↓ - Rest

Jigglypuff's moves are very lightweight, yet can be helpful if used right. His Rollout attack can damage enemies tremendously, but can also send him careening of the edge of the battlefield. His sing attack can cause enemies to fall asleep for a short period of time. His Rest move seems harmless at first, but if used correctly, can do massive damage to the enemy. (If NOT used correctly, it will make Jigglypuff fall asleep for a short period of time.
