Fryguy is a huge ball of fire that spits fire balls downward. Hit him with Mushroom Blocks to break him appart into smaller living fireballs that jump at you. Defeat them the same way, but they'll get faster as each one dies.
He's the boss of world 4 in Super Mario Bros. 2.
