I apologize for the inconvenience. Issues are preventing me from copying the content from my test page and making it into an article. Therefore, I need someone who can edit user pages and sub-pages to do this for me. Thanks in advance. Mario4Ever (talk) 20:45, 20 June 2011 (EDT)

What exactly do you need help with? Seems like the article turned out fine. Even if you can't edit the user pages, you still should be able to view and copy coding.--Knife (talk) 21:12, 20 June 2011 (EDT)

Quote Change

The quote currently used on the article contains a swear word. While swearing is allowed on the Wiki (as long as it isn't in excess), I believe that having it on an important page such as this that could easily have younger viewers is probably a bad idea. As such, I suggest changing it to "Over the years, I know you've heard a lot of Nintendo people say, "we're all about the games". Well, guess what? We are. Whether you're talking about Donkey Kong or Tetris, Madden or Mario, Metal Gear or Resident Evil, he with the best games wins. Always been that way, always will.". This is a nice quote for Reggie as well, and doesn't swear. Peanutjon (talk) 22:41, 27 June 2014 (EDT)

See Talk:Bob Hoskins for a similar situation. PikaSamus (talk) 22:41, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
Not very similar, since that was arguing that it should be censored. I'm suggesting that we replace it with a quote that describes the person just as well. While this is in an attempt to censor it, it's much more reasonable. Peanutjon (talk) 22:44, 27 June 2014 (EDT)

"While this is in an attempt to censor it" lol. --Glowsquid (talk) 22:47, 27 June 2014 (EDT)

"It's much more reasonable". Lol. Peanutjon (talk) 22:52, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
No, the quote's what's reasonable: any request to censor the wiki being styled as "reasonable" is what's laughable. The official wiki policy is: "articles occasionally discuss content that some users find disagreeable, such as [...] the use of profanity in quotes. Under no circumstances will users be allowed to remove or otherwise suppress material of this nature [...] If you can't handle certain subject matter being professionally addressed on the wiki, that's your problem, not ours." So yeah, the quote's staying. It's punchy, it's illustrative of his style, and it will not be censored. End of story. - Walkazo 22:58, 27 June 2014 (EDT)
